Carissa was one of the 20 women who were a part of kapuPatel Photography’s Woman Of Science / STEM campaign.
“Women are mothers, wives, employees and they play so many roles. A lot of times, it’s a lot about what we can do and what we can give, and this opportunity today like getting my hair and make up done…I never pamper myself like that. Or doing something for me to express myself.” - Carissa on one of the reasons why she wanted to be a part of this campaign.

Carissa’s photo shoot was done in our studio in West Windsor, New Jersey. Her advice to young girls who are entering the field of Science and STEM today is, “I recommend they have the conversation. Just have the conversation because a lot of doors can open up having conversations.”
