"Just keep dreaming” - Melissa Mordecai’s Woman Of Science / STEM session
She’s sunshine, she’s fire, she’s a bundle of energy! She talks fast, she thinks deep, she lives light but she lifts heavy. She’s the phenomenal Melissa Mordecai ! From the second she stepped in the studio, we couldn’t stop giggling and we couldn’t stop dancing to Ain’t No Mountain High Enough!
Melissa was drawn to the concept and the idea of our Woman Of Science / STEM campaign and wanted to be a part of this to celebrate her journey as a woman of science, specifically in nursing.
Melissa is an Assistant Teaching Professor for Rowan University’s School of Nursing. She sees patients with Angelic Health as a Nurse Practitioner. She is also a mom (self confessed logistics coordinator) to two beautiful little girls and her instagram feed is an inspiration to everyone to get moving and she will help you find the time for self care. She is a Doctoral NP putting wellness back into health.

For Melissa, nursing was never part of the initial plan and she kind of fell into it, but today she loves it passionately. She wants people to know that it’s never late to change your mind, to change your career or change your path at any time in your life.
